Picture me

Each one of you will have taken a picture of themselves...with their families...with their friends...with their loved ones...

We take pictures of our cars...our houses...our travel destinations...our pets...our personal belongings....

Years can pass by..and you will go back to those pictures and reminisce those times we had....whether its those good times with your family...or those bad times with certain people...at the end..its only a memory of the past...

However....what about those pictures that remind you of bad times?? bad people?? bad places??

An Ex who hurt you?
Friends who back stabbed you?
Family members who betrayed you?

Would you have the power to remove those pictures from your life? to remove a past that you want to forget?

I still have pictures of my past...some very good times in those pictures...yet..it reminds me of stuff I need to forget...and just wipe it out of my life....maybe its easy as select all --> delete --> empty recycle bin ..........but its more complicated than that....

Part of me says "Just let it go...burn it".....the other part says "Its still part of you"....

I can keep looking at them...and...Smile while I bleed.........
I can remove them..and...Weep while I heal........

Its just a matter of power.......

Sorry for being away for a while...

i've been busy at work...then Eid started..I hope everyone had a good and blessed one..

now...my topics are usually about Kuwait...coz at the end I would love to see Kuwait rise to the better...yet not many stand by my points of view..I have supporters that I am proud of....now this post will be a letter to Kuwaitis that I have talked about in my past posts...not certain if it will be known by every Kuwaiti...I'm not sure if it will only be limited to bloggers who visit...but as a Kuwaiti I have a duty...and this duty is to aware others of certain aspects of our Kuwaiti life..and how it should be changed....

This my friends..by a Kuwaiti for a Kuwaiti...and I call it....The day will come.....

Dear Kuwait,

Before I start I need to thank God for making me a Muslim..An Arab and a Kuwaiti...These origins I am proud of..and no one can take my pride away...I need to thank you for giving me the opportunity for a good education and a good life to support myself and my family...Even if there are some negative aspects in you..I still tear up when I see your flag up in the sky...When I hear the National anthem...when I see you being supported by fellow Kuwaitis...I pray that you would be safe..and to grow into a country that everyone is proud of....with the support of the Royal family...and the government..and good people who represent the country in the parliament...

Dear Kuwaiti Guys,

For years this beloved country have gave you the education, and the life to support you during your growth...during these years some of us have seen the cruelty during the gulf war..some of us were old enough to defend this land...we lost loved ones for this land...and 18 years passed and our morals have gone down hill...

As a fellow Kuwaiti guy...I've been doing what you've been doing...studying..gaz...smoking.. partying...and all that ....and after that..I regret doing 90% of what I did...and I know am not perfect...

As a Kuwaiti...I'm scared to let out my wife go out all alone...not coz I dont trust her...but coz I do not trust the Kuwaiti guys...some of you go around following girls to their houses..annoy girls while they drive...open their doors at the parking..harass them in the malls...shout out some rude words to them..

I believe in love...and I believe in love before marriage...however that is not the way to go for it...instead of just wasting your time at the mall...try something new..try inventing..trying working on the internet..try working at shops...work is not a sin...make your parents proud...

have you ever thought of your sisters? would you like it if what you do to other girls someone would do to your sisters? taking pics and videos of girls and spreading them around the internet and between your friends...imagine one of those videos is your sister..what would happen to you?

Am sure many of you are talented one way or another....programming..sports.. music..acting..inventing. anything your talented in...try working on it...instead of wasting it the wrong way..

The day will come when you notice that what you did in your life was a waste...and there is more meaning in life....

Dear Kuwaiti Girls,

during the years I met my share of Kuwaiti girls...and now I know that I respect you the same way I respect my sisters...

I believe that you are taught well..and I love to see Kuwaiti women doing something big in their life...such as sports and clothing...and I would love to see the day when we have a female team in each sport to make us proud...

you are known for the best style in the gulf region...yet some of you do not seem to care how you look...although its your life...you still represent us...showing most of your body can be used against you..as a country...as a society...this can have some negative views...yes you might not care what people say...but at the end..you will be sacked by the society....

Wearing a 7ejab with half your hair is out...or the tip is hitting the moon is not cool...there are rules to the hejab..whether abide it...or dont wear it at all...

When the day comes...and you are looking our after your daughters...and want them to make you proud...you will know you lived right..to raise right...

Dear Kiwaiti Extremists,

As much I'm prod to be a Muslim...some of you give us Muslims and Kuwaitis a bad name...do not think that you are the only Muslims..

Calling us low lives..is not the way you will get our support...you are only getting hate...do not act as if you are the only ones who know Islam...or know about our prophet Mohammad (PBUH)....coz many of us pray 5 times a day...we prayed the last 10 nights of Ramadan...and defend our belief...

trying to block youtube is not fair as you think...it will not stop anti-Islamic people to send out their opinions...coz there are many websites that attack us...and we just sit here and block it...not even defending our belief and our prophet (PBUH)....some of you have youtube channels with your videos...there a millions out there who add videos of Quran...Islamic documentaries and shows...their conversion to Islam stories...

Try to use something Allah gave you as a gift..and that is your brain...80% (i think) of the world are not Muslim....they were not born to a Muslim family...and they do not know Islam expect from the terror reports on their News networks...some relay on the internet and youtube to study different religions..and many will come to Islam.....

God gave us the brain to build on his lands...not to hate...not because there are non Muslims means we should hate the,..but we should help them know Islam...and if god wants..he will show them the right way...

Giving out some weird fatwas that make us a laughing stock....we should develop.....we have reached the world with our knowledge..during the Islamic golden years...Listing some of our Muslim Scientists are:

- Sabeer bhatia (Co-founder of Hotmail)

We have declined in Science since certain Muslims have started to forbid us to develop...yet Allah ordered us to study, learn and develop....and the best person to follow is our prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

When the day comes..Allah will ask you for everything you did in your life...not just you religious life...

Since the War..we have not developed...yet neighbor countries took our approach before the war and see where the have reached now...

your problems together are not affecting you...but affecting the Kuwaiti people and Kuwait itself...education..health care..sports and development is low in our country...and this is because you can't get along..

Our Emirs have always stood up for us..and requested from you to live to the expectation to develop Kuwait....but from what I read from the newspapers everyday...I see problems that affect us negatively....

No co-operation will not lead us to develop...we are running behind the pack...but I would like to see Kuwait being in front....minor issues that do not need to be discussed over 4 years...or projects that take 20 years to be accepted is not appropriate....we should start projects that will help our economy...will help our teens to develop both mental and physically...

We should start doing so soon...Because the day will come..when we will be under the developing countries......

UPDATE: Youtube won't be blocked...so I guess I will keep on blogging for now..

1- I will stop blogging if Youtube is blocked....Coz if youtube is blocked..they should just remove all ISPs from Kuwait and we should live without the internet....there are stuff I can shut up about and not talk about....bs now its getting serious.... stopping youtube coz some videos that are anti-islamic....how about the videos that support Islam???? why do we have to take the negative stuff only??????? First it was stopping shops from showing lingerie at their windows..ok there might be some ppl who would get turned on by a lingerie on a mannequin !!!!!!...now youtube?? what about tomorrow?? will they be closing down the cinema? ma9art 3adat ow taqleed...when they say this affects all Kuwaitis and its against our traditions...ummm did you talk to the 1 Million Kuwaitis about it??? plus..did they ever hear about proxy?????? ow madry 3ad bs youtube elly fee anti-islamic content?? instead of blocking we should be defending Islam..not running away... (lets see some banners being created for not blocking youtube !!)

2- For those ppl who are saying "No to Hijab"....what if a girl wants too?? ent shko feehom??? freedom of choice?????

3- People who complained about Zain and Wataniya during the number change...instead of being all whiny maybe a thank you for the people who worked hard to get everything working would be appreciated.....

4- its enough after the 3esha prayer the streets are crowded...now some people drive chena they are the only ones who are stuck in traffic...saftey lanes are used as an extra lane....people passing a queue of cars on the U-Turn chena share3 obohom....people force themselves in front of cars chena everyone has a car which can stop in time even if they are driving fast....people just keep honking as if it will make the traffic disappear... !!!

OK we talked about the Kuwaiti guys..now lets talk about our girlies....

Just a quick recap about the guys...If a guy saw a guys sister in the party and was laughing at the guy because he doesn't know about sisters and labeling girls as *****es....well imagine your sister is in a party with her bf like you....will you be laughing??

Ana ma yeb06 chabdy ela hal nas....he talks to girls..follows girls...has sex...and when it comes ot his sister ye9eer shareef roma....

now...back to the girls...Girls are parties can be decent...but some can be pure cheap...by cheap I mean the stuff they show for other guys..and the way they act with their BF or guys infront of the world....showing off your bra and panties isnt decent at all...if that is decent...I'm Sanata clause...

Now before you tell me do not judge...I wont care if a girl drinks..I wont care if she smokes..I wont care if she is a nudist...There is something called dignity...if a girl cares about her dignity...then she would be on the good side list...

See some things girls do can be considered taboo ..but if the guy does it...well it would be cool..Amu talked about some female bloggers who talked about their sexual adventures...now whats the point of that? wont you be scared that one day you will need to be asked about for marriage??

Yeah...some girls are against marriage ....but think bout it..if a guy is talking to you for a while..and he got everything he wanted from you...why would he need you for the rest of his life?

There are many ways to see a cheap girl..its not really hard..

1- Ugly as ****.. half naked... a ton of make-up....tight jeans that her behind will explode...and 3 muscular guys sitting around her...and her friends come in

2- Fake 7jab (the one where half her hair is out)...tight tshirt...tight jeans...everything is about to explode...smoking with her guy friend...and swearing at each girl...and the most polite word she says is KO...

3- a 2 lane street....has her window down...talking to 4 guys in a fancy car....and 500 behind her awaiting their turn....

4- A party...drunk and high....giving a live prono show to the others with her boyfriend....and they are only 16.....

Please no one tells me anything about Islam..ow madry sheno..and your becoming religious...and all that...coz Im not..not coz am a believer of Islam I will force you ..I believe in respect....when a girl respects her self she gains respect from others...

Its not about your clothes...veil or no veil it does not make you a respectful girl....coz some veiled girls show their bodie smore than not veiled girls...ow many not veiled girls are mo7tramat....its the way you show your body off...

Its not about partying...parties are fun...a change of your daily routine..but going there and just giving yourself away..

Its not about smoking drinking or anything like that..this is all up to you...its your health..your life...

It all comes down to self-respect

2 days ago...I was flipping through the channels...and I passed by KTV3....there was a volleyball game between Kathma and Qadsiya...it was in 1974 (I think)...black and white....and it was the Women team who were playing...and the fans were mixed...guys and girls...old and young...sitting together watching the game.....

Yesterday...while I was checking out youtube...I found this....

I heard that the main cause was a girl who was with 2 guys (they say her dad filed a report of her disappearance)...and other guys started harassing her...and the usual happened.....

now....what happened in 30 years that caused guys to watch girls playing volleyball in peace...to having fights for girls...OK..who would I blame....

Now if you've been to the places I've been too...(in Kuwait)....you could blame the girls..I mean the guys have some uncontrollable hormones..I mean some girls are just indecent...they who too much...they want the attention...and now they have this thing with big lips ....anyway you know what I mean..

On the other hand...I do blame the guys...coz to sum it up..." Mo metrbyeen"....ok I understand hooking up...you fall in love..ok...following a girl to her house...is not love...following her to her car and opening up the door after she is in..I consider it harassment...Saying really vulgur stuff to a passing by gurl (however she looks) is just purely rude...Wain ahlkom 3ankom...

Now...people might say spikey you never followed a girl and all that...I would say...I know when I should stop...If I was attarcted to a girl I would go talk to her politely...and If she doesnt want it..I leave in peace...mo'3a9ben 3an el ebnaya she has to take your number....

Back to the topic...how come we see those guys out there...is it coz "mo shayfeen 5air?" ...or is it coz that some girls are not decent...I dont believe in the latter because the guys also follow met7ajbat...ow embrge3at...and I dont think a girl is decent or not decent by her looks but by the stuff she does....

The reason is....I believe that closing the country ...not having anything to do...they just wanna show off ...and find someone to waste their time on...the more open the better...so they go out and do what they do....

I want girls to start playing sports freely...maybe start representing their country..and make us proud....I wanna walk in a mall and see girls walk without being disturbed...I want them to go out at any time of the day without being followed by 500 cars..which can to lead to many accidents (we lost girls coz of this).....

On another note...since when do we wait in front of Lorenzo (Avenues) to get a seat...whats so good about it??? for the last few weeks..when I go..there is a freaking huge crowd out there...waiting for a table to be empty...

Its not like the Avenues doesn't have other places to stay...whats wrong with the other coffee places?

Occupation 101...The Conflict

Lately...some bloggers have talked about if Kuwait should have connections with Israel...Well...My thought on that is ..No way...Not until their Zionist Regime is removed...

Last week I watched "Occupation 101" ...... It really made a big difference...I never thought of Israel that way before watching the documentary...I advice you to watch it...and tell me how you feel...

Now...There is a difference if I am against Zionists...and when if I'm against Judaism...I'm against Zionists...But not against the Jews...why?

Zionism is mainly a racist move...it takes in consideration your religion ONLY....they provide the Jews with the best standards in life before the Palestinians found in their lands....although Palestine is a very old country...Ruins have been found there that dated more than 5000 BC...it is not considered a country when you see how the Palestinians live there....

Between 1948 and 1990 ....South Africa was one of the countries that had a very bad reputation when it came to race...The white power ruled the country...and was truly against any black person....for 52 years...the black community in south Africa suffered in the hands of the white Regime...would you hate the south Africans? or its rulers?

See when it comes to politics...Israel with their Zionist movement is the worst.....it violates many international laws every single day..like the following:

1- ILLEGAL MILITARY OCCUPATION: The current Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal. Military actions and occupations are considered legal only if they are based on self-defense (as Israel claims) or are designed to benefit the native population of the occupied areas, but it is now clear that Israel's occupation is illegal because Israeli implementation of it clearly is about:
- (1) Acquisition of land into Israel by force, and
- (2) Economic exploitation of the occupied areas via building up de facto Annexation on occupied lands --
  - (A) Extensive modification of local laws, and
  - (B) Building Israeli settlements on occupied lands (illegal population transfer),
  - (C) Building separation barrier not on border but through Palestinian communities displacing over 200,000 Palestinian civilians separating them from their families, work, schools, hospitals, etc.
- (3) Inhumane suppression of rebellion is implemented through --
  - (A) Practice of Collective Punishment, and
  - (B) Extensive violations of Palestinian Human Rights.
All 7 of these policy actions are illegal according to international law (see details below), which thus makes the occupation itself illegal.

2- ILLEGAL ACQUISITION OF LAND BY FORCE: Israel annexes land taken by force during the 1967 war (East Jerusalem and Golan Heights)

3- FORBIDDING CIVILIANS THE RIGHT TO RETURN TO THEIR HOMES FOLLOWING THE END OF ARMED CONFLICT: Israeli government enacts laws, and employs its military to keep Palestinian Arab civilians from returning to their homes following the end of fighting in the occupied territories in 1967. Israel then violates UN resolutions ordering them to respect Palestinian's right to return to their homes

4- ILLEGAL POPULATION TRANSFER: Israel settles Israeli citizens in hundreds of Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian land

5- VIOLATIONS OF HUMAN RIGHTS: Israel has significantly violated the human rights of the Palestinian people within Israel with its legalized Apartheid system of discrimination, and in the occupied territories with its system of political oppression, economic exploitation, and inhumane law enforcement practices primarily in response to the Palestinian rebellion against the above oppression and exploitation

These are are only part of the violations of the Zionists in Israel....

However...I'm not against the Israeli people...or the Jews..because there are many out there that are against what their rulers are doing against Palestinians...There are Jewish movements that try to stop the Zionism...some go out there and try to stop bulldozers from demolishing Palestinian homes...and one American woman...Rachel Corrie....Died underneath an Israeli bulldozers when she stood infront of it to protest....

Its sad to see people standing with Israel and support their killing innocent people...And they blame Muslims for terror...When Palestinians live in terror every single day...

Who are those people who are supporting Israel?? Well mainly the Secular blogs out there...that believe in freedom of speech and peace...and of course they claim patriotism...Those people said that we are not Palestine so why do we care...They said that Israel did not do anything against us...

Let me remind you of something...in 1990...Saddam Hussain invaded Kuwait...Killing.. Torturing.. and demolishing Kuwait....Many Kuwaitis stood against him...this is was our country being invaded...and am sure that we were and still against Saddam's regime..we aren't against Iraqi people..correct?

Also...34 countries helped us against Saddam...why would they care? they aren't Kuwait...some have nothing to do with us...so why bother them selves to remove the Occupation of Kuwait by Saddam....

Secular people believe in human rights..and laws that support the individual...but unfortunately...they ignore whats happening in Palestine every single day..and look for connections with Murderers...

Please open up your eyes...I'm not against Israel because its a Jew state....I'm against it because of its Hateful Regime....and Racists Regimes have fell...Ireland...India...South Africa..The United States...all these countries had a Racist Era....and all were wiped away...its just a matter of time.....

On the fourth day of Ramadan...

Well 4 days have passed...my sleep is messed up...I dont sleep after work...I stay awake till prayer time...then stay awake till 1 AM...sleep..then my wife wakes me up before the Morning prayer to pray and have something to eat...and I barely sleep back again...

other than that..I'm enjoying it with my family when we break our fast....I like the ramadan spirit...so its all cool...And also I enjoyed the the last supper by NQ and (Ls):P...so its all goood...Although I didnt have any Machbos..Madry laish I don't like it anymore..I wonder if its coz of a certain someone

Hasan.B: so your ok with being in peace with Israel but your against homosexuality...so are you like religious? secular? mini-atheist? or what? RID 3ALAY :P

OK..what else...

Oh yeah..if your bad in English...keep your writing in Arabic please..Am not perfect..bas some bloggers are bad in English..and sticking to Arabic is much better...(I sux on Arabic :P)..I dont mean grammar wise..I mean the whole English language...

First Day...

Well ... it was the first day of Ramadan...after we broke our fast..sat with our families....we headed out to the Avenues....The new place with the dancing fountain...and new restaurants opened... so we went to Color Me Mine...it was the first time Ever I go there..my wife wanted to paint...and I was like ok...so we went...Choose a plate and she started to paint....Here is some of the photos..

Whats up with the people who are claiming patriotism lately???

So people are showing their patriotism with books? blogs? written words? Aby ashoofkom wagt el9egeya....

Being a Patriot is to love your country "NO MATTER WHAT"....you should defend your country when someone attacks it....You should be proud to be from your country....you stand next to your fellow national when in need...and you welcome the non-nationals....Wanting to see Kuwaits Flag high in one of the Sports celebrations...Or showing how Kuwait is a great country when you are abroad..Show yourself a respectful Kuwaiti when abroad... Thats being a true Patriot...

When you relate Kuwait to an inhuman Jail.....Or keep trying to change it into something its not...Or keep dissing "any" part of its people....Or try to find all its faults..when you ignore the main problems we have...when you run after money and fame and forget your country...here my friend..I call it Treason...

No am not talking about bashar....People get caught every single day..for stuff which is not considered as high crime as the one bashar was accused off...and no one speaks..I said it before...some people get more attention because of certain stuff...and their are many innocent ppl out there...ma7ad wagef weyahom...and their suffering is not being defended by logos in Kuwaiti blogs....(we seem to have a contractor who designs a logo as soon as the 'next big thing' occurs in Kuwait).....

La and now they think that secularism is the light that will bright up Kuwait...10 people gathered together....who want everything "free" abroad to be "free" here.....not caring about the consequences...They travel abroad and brag about their sexual adventures and their drinking haven...Just imagine your sister is doing this ...( Yeah I would love to see your face and say "she is free to do so")......I don't want to see Kuwait go that low....if you want Kuwait to open up for sex, alcohol and drugs...I say leave Kuwait...Coz its not the Kuwait you want...Coz Kuwait is better than that....

I can give you a list of blogs that claim to be patriots....Yet they either support the extreme laws of Saudi Arabia...Or the great "winners" of Hezballah....They claim they believe in the Constitution....Yet they wanna change 99% of it...They say they believe in Democracy....and they get angry when 92% of the parliament agrees on creating a commission to fight the negative acts...They keep attacking each single guys with a beard..thinking they are angels them selves...

Then they say Kuwait is going backwards...You think?? people attacking each other...kel wa7ed min 9ob...and you want Kuwait to bloom? Akeed it wont if each one of us hates the other....Everyone is forcing his belief on the other....people getting disrespectful in the name of freedom....

Most of us...the younger generation..did not go through what happened in 1990...I for one was 5 years old...and now..18 years later...we still see the agony...and this agony keeps us behind...scared to move on.....and most importantly...we still have this touch with Iraqis...(Racist?).....

Kuwait is the Pearl of the Gulf...The Beginning of the growth in the Gulf even the middle east...we were the first at everything...and when a small incident occured...we halted...didnt move on....and now we wish we be at the top again...but we shouldn't wish....we should stop all the bull...start believing...start respecting..and start working for something worth it...not for you...for us....for Kuwait......

Well I just received my iPhone 3G...at last...I waited since the first day the iPhone was introduced to get a 3G version..and here it is...lthough no simlock is available yet (awaiting Zibri from Ziphone) till then am just using the apps....got some of the freebie stuff from itune store to check it out.....Ialso been creating some ringtones (just to be ready when an unlock is available :P)

Moving Out

Well we found a flat 2 weeks ago..and since then we were busy just getting the furniture and stuff....

Well this ain't new to me...I moved out of the country for 4 years before..So moving out to a flat isn't a scare...the only difference is....am moving with my wifey....something I can't wait for...I was looking forward to this for a while....

Anyway...regarding the furniture...I choose the sofa and and bed...and my wife choose the accessories....So imagine the black theme background (sofa,bed,walls) with the pink, blue and purple accessories (pillows, lamps, curtains, etc).....So its quite the view...I actually love it...

What I like about us is we don't mind each others taste...I like the dark colors...she likes the girly bright ones...put them together...you get a really cool look...

What I hated about getting the furniture is their timing for delivery...3ala kaifhom...one guy told me that delivery is between 4-7..I told him but the flat is empty...and I cant stay there for 3 hours waiting for you to arrive...he said this is our policy..I was like ok no problem...I went home after work...slept...woke up and I saw a few missed calls...I called up...and he was nagry telling me he was waiting infront of the flat for an hour...I told him oh I was asleep..he said why didnt you tell us to come another day....I told him coz I want my furniture today..he said you shouldnt have slept...I said its my policy to sleep after work...

I am the customer...I should be choosing when it is appropriate for me...when will I be available...they come to the place..call me and tell me they are waiting outside...I tell them I'm busy..they say please don't be late...TOUGH LUCK...I have other stuff I have to do in life than just wait for you to find the time for me...

OK schedule stuff...between an hour ...not 5 hours....

Anyway...We just have some tiny bits of stuff to get during the week....so hopefully we will be moving out during the weekend...

I don't like traveling in summer.....Coz summer destinations are usually Europe and the States....the other places are usually bad during summer...

The fares are really high because its the season...So you don;t get good deals during summer...

anywhere you go...you will see half of Kuwait there...I wanna go somewhere without looking at any Kuwaiti during the whole of my vacation....

I wanna feel I am on vacation in every aspect.....so my plan is...to leave after eid for a couple of weeks....so ...where is it recommended for October?

Well I've been really busy during the weekend and couldnt see my wife much....So yesterday night I went to Traders Vic's.....Since that place opened and I want it to try it....lets give you my score first

Food: 6/10 Price: 3/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Staff: 9/10

Well...Their food isnt as I expected at all..their Caesar salad tasted really fishy...I just had one bite and left the rest.....however their main course was delicious ..I loved the half chicken..and the steak was amazing...but unfortunately ...we ordered a well done steak but it was pure red....So we they apologized (a million times) and treated us to a smooth cocktail...which was really nice.....but seriously...their prices were really high and not worth the food....Id rather pay the sum on other restaurants...I'd give it a 5/10 overall...would I go again? they need to change a bit before I visit that place again...

Now..Before I end this subject...to the guy who was sitting next to us....

Olympics 2008 --- Stops hate?

Well I am watching The olympics....I always look forward to it....It shows how united people can be...and I just love to watch a variety of sports....

Now the olympics has every nation in the world....nations that have conflict are found together here...does this mean it makes people love each other?

For example.. Israel came out....The Arab commentator did not even bother say their name....on the other hand..you can hear the loud cheers from the crowd when Iraq came in...

Most arab countries will forfeit if they play against Israel....and I am against that...Coz politics should not interfere with sports....and secondly....I wanna make my country proud...If I have the will to win a medal...why forfeit???? Politics is one thing....Sports is another thing

Anyway...I have some good hopes for Kuwait in the Olympics...Al-Zankawi is really good at the hammer throw..Al-Azmi has an opportunity in the 800m....and the ones with really big hopes are the ones in the shooting competition.....Good luck to the 8 players representing Kuwait in the olympics...And wish you the best of luck..and hopefully see you come back home with a medal around your neck.....(oh and good luck for the 42 management representatives enjoying your vacation in china).....

Also...I would really like to start watching Kuwaiti women in the Olympics (and all other sport events) we have some really good female athletes such as the sisters (forgot their names) in fencing.....

One sentence I read alot in many blogs is...if you don't like it ...then don't comment (or read)

So why did you open a blog from the start anyway? (scared to be caught?)

When I opened my blog..I wanted everyone to read it...and every one to comment...and everyone to express their thoughts and feelings...whether its against my thoughts or not..If am not up to it...I wouldn't have bothered to open a blog...If you really need to..just make it private and let the ones who support your idea (which I can count using one hand only) to read your blog.....

Come over here...comment....the comment page is made for others....and I support that...

If you didn't get who am talking about...its those so called athiests...you are so damn funny...it started with one blog..then another...and now we a have around 5 who started their rude - I mean atheist - blogs...

whats funny is they talk about stuff they think "modern life" is exempted from...for example:

Am tired of saying the same thing over and over and over...........

There is a thin line between opinion....and disrespect....and if some of the bloggers who are ok with people disrespecting their belief....I will not tolerate it against mine....if you think I dont like it I shouldn't read it...I say I am entitled to defend my belief....

When someone has thoughts, questions or just expressing an opinion....then they can do this freely...if people start the disrespect..well I don't blame anyone who want those blogs to be blocked.....

And lets be real...people who disrespect belief on their blogs...are just hiding behind the screen...knowing that they are anonymous...and wont be known...so go on..keep on the "free disrespectful" posts...

I know people who are against my believes...bs when they argue their points...they do not say anything that I would consider hurtful....and I respect what they say....

You know what is stopping us from going forward ? the mentality in our parliament....and our business men only think about malls and restaurants....Do you see how Dubai used their water front? do you see how they used their desert?

If only they put me in control of tourism for a year....am not asking for much am I?

GreyShorts last post made me wonder....

What is considered racist?

We always hear stuff like ....Yal hindi..Yal Ma9ry...Yal etc etc etc....is it considered racist?

First Racism is the hate towards a certain group ..whether its color, religion or background.....So therefore if you hate being friends with a certain group..this makes you racist...but saying a sentence or something does not make you a racist (I think we have been taking alot of the western attitude when it comes to this)....however we need to understand something...there are stuff that we need to acknowledge...or live with..and shouldn't deny it....

For example...Grey was talking about Bado..and how proud she is to be one...and am glad she is...the best thing is to be proud of your heritage...but...neglecting the truth....thats bad....

I noticed that different groups in Kuwait try to defend themselves from stuff which are obvious....we get carried away when someone talks about a group....yet it could be the truth...and when talking about a certain group...there are limits of course...state the obvious but do not cuss for example...

I have many friends...I have Kuwaiti 7athar...I have bado..I have egyptions..I have shamyeen (as we call zalamat)..I have Iraqi friends..I have english...and the list goes on..and with them all we have among us comments that other might consider racist...but its not...coz its something that is true

Let be more Specific..I will be talking about myself....I am Kuwaiti...I am half Egyption..and a9ly from Pakistan..now these are the following comments I get:

- Rajow jeeb chabaty
- Yal 9a3eedy
- Kuwaiti 3ala rasik resha

And I laugh...ofcourse I get back at them depending on their nationality...and we just laugh...we don't consider it Racist..but people who tend to be racist are the ones who make a fuss about it..

In Kuwait we have different types of familes that we say jokes about..Like El Mu6ran..El3awazem..El7asaweya..ElBloosh...but does that mean that they are really like that? No..I have a 7asawy friend...who we send to 7asawy jokes..he sends us 7asawy jokes..we tell him some 7asawy comments....We dont see him get angry...but ofcourse he picks on us whenever he can :P .....

People who take in the truth about their people...will usually be the friendly and good ones...because they know its not aimed at them specifically..but as an overall view....

And if we need to take into consideration the western view...you notice that generally the blacks are the ones who are less racist...notice how blacks joke about their own stereotypes? whether its stand up comedy...or a black movie...they joke about themselves...and thus they live life with no hate towrads anyone...

I believe Racism occurs when people start defending their own "group" and forget the other "groups" that make them a unity.....(eshraykom bas bel moto :P)

So guys..Lighten up..and handle the truth from time to time..we know you might not be under your "groups" category.....but Leve wiz et (The Egyptian accent :P) :D

As humans...We are never satisfied...We always try to get one level higher..even if thats your last level...And this comes in many aspects of our lives..such as education, work, looks, etc...but when do you know that you have reached the correct level?

Many of us don't know....Lets get into education...If I count the times I heard "Oh I want to do my masters in MBA"....Everyone wants to become a business person...The problem is..they think getting an MBA will make them a business pioneer.....

I never believed that getting a certificate that shows you did 2 years of business will qualify you to be in management...this goes for any major...because there are ways around it...people can get degrees from some universities with money...Also..what you do in you exam in the final year...does not mean you will be doing this all your life....

Education comes from the heart...there are people out there who are self educated...they read books and research ...and they learn from it...I believe when someone has the passion to learn...he does not need a university certificate....But when someone wants to learn thinking that it will make him someone....Thats when things go wrong....the best proof...look at all the businesses in Kuwait...and tell me what is booming and what is not....is it about people with a certificate? or with passion?

This concept can be used in any aspect...One of these aspects I want to talk about is looks...Women looks...Unfortunately science has evolved rapidly...and introduced to us plastic surgery...One thing I love about women is their natural look....When the girl has self esteem...knows her looks...and wears something to go with her looks...this girl should be admired....

Girls who are 15 years old are going for nose jobs...lip enlargement...cheek modification..implants...laser treatments...to make themselves look beautiful...which leads to some girls who look horrifying...Lips larger than their face...Noses so small you get reminded of Micheal Jackson....BoZZoMz that will pop out of clothes...

There is a change of style...and a Change in looks...Having your hair done...changing its color ..or its length...your clothes...something temporary...is a change in style...doing some type of surgery...is changing your body...and most probably you will be repeating this change because you won't be satisfied....

OFF TOPIC: well not really..but speaking of changing hair color...WALLA WALLA blond does not suit every single Kuwaiti girl...WALLA....whats up with all the girls turning blond now?...

Satisfaction should come form the heart..when you are satisfied on what you did by yourself...fo something you like or love...then you will know that you have reached a point...that if you go one step higher.......you will fall......

Its sad that Kuwait is getting to this point...

These two incidents happened to me during the search for an apartment...maybe they are the same..but has different views....

1- The really good ones that I am trying to get are rented out for foreigners ONLY..

2- Some good flats are rented with higher prices for Kuwaitis than for foreigners....

For the first point...why is a flat made only for non-Kuwaitis? And I am Kuwaiti and I should be allowed to get any flat I want regardless of my nationality......And being from the SAME country..I should not be treated as an alien...Its just not fair

As for the Second point...the increase in salary that occurred lately for Kuwaitis (both the 120 KD and 50 KD) has given the owners a chance to increase flat prices "3ala kaif elly 5alefohom"....not caring that the increase was done for a purpose of INCREASED PRICES....but no....madam I am Kuwaiti...I get more Money...Suck it from Him....and because non-Kuwaitis don't have the curse of "Increased salary 3al fathy" they have the better prices..

So if your non-Kuwaiti...Be happy your not treated as a Kuwaiti...Coz unfortunately...I am an Alien Kuwaiti...Living in My own Country...

I won't be talking about belief here...its up to them if they don't believe in god or believe in nothing...I believe everyone has his brains to think..and if they reach a conclusion whether there is a god or not..then let them be...we ain't here to judge.....

Please read the above....and tell me..is that how low people can get because they want the freedom...**** freedom if people will be this low....I Always said it...RESPECT TO BE RESPECTED...not believing in god does not give you the right to say stuff that you know is disrespectful towards Muslims or any other people who believe in god....

Yeah we know all the stuff you've been through to stop believing...but you have no right nooo right to diss something I believe...I don't diss you belief...all I say is hope god shows you the right path....

Unfortunately... These people have this mentality due to some extreme Islamists and these stories about recent miracles...

How many Islamists when they pray the ask god to kill and torture non-muslims?
How many were killed in the name of god?
How many out there hate people coz of their faith?

The prophet Mohammad (PBUH) has prayed to god to help those to find him...to give them the faith...and to help them through to believe in him...why aren't we doing what our prophet did?

We are taking Islam as a goal...Yet islam is a way to live life...our goal is to develop the land god gave us...using Islam to live our daily life..not hating any non-muslim.....extreme islamists have gave shown us in a bad picture...and these people are the ones who hit the news..and are shown everywhere...

But there are many Isalmists there who understand...who know what true Islam is...they don't hate...and give advice...

As for the recent miracles that people talk about...and send through email....write about it in newspapers...people! we have Brains...stop making others laugh at us for these made up stuff to prove that god exists...Or to prove we are right....we don't need to...Our Quran..and Our prophets are enough to prove who we are...

Anyway...here are some Miracles that you should stop believing...and think the next time stuff like that come up....

First Lie: A guy who was dug out of his grave and seen burnt due to the torture of the grave
Truth: A Saudi girl who was burnt to death in an accident

Second Lie: The Jinn that was pictured in a cave in the UAE
Truth: Its a dummy put in a cave with electric lights for his eyes

Third Lie: The picture showing the Moon cut in half that proves the story the moon and prophet mohammad (PBUH) seen in the NASA website
Truth: The power of photoshop..Searching the NASA website you will not find it

Fourth Lie: the Sand fountain that occurred in Saudi Arabia that proves the Quranic Verse وأخرجت الأرض أثقالها regarding the signs of the end of days
Truth: A burst water pipe in Saudi belonging to Aramco

Fifth Lie: The picture showing A set of trees that show "there is only only one god" (in Arabic) found in a German park
Truth: Its a drawing from an Egyptian Artist and his name was removed from the pic

Sixth Lie: Michael Jackson embraces Islam
Truth: he respects Islam but did not Embrace it

Seventh Lie: The Omani Girl who turned into (dont know the name) after she mocked God and the Quran
Truth: This is figure made to show the affect of cloning humans

And there is the one that said Neil Armstrong has heard the Prayer Calling on the Moon and became a Muslim. Never happened , go research it as much as you want.

Before Believing in these stuff...See where it came from..get Solid proof...and mainly..Know that God and His prophets don't need these made up stories to prove they are real....
