Over the past few weeks, I’ve been on a mission to find a scarlet red handbag. I noticed that the majority of the bags I owned are black or in shades of blue. Over the summer I bought a bright yellow ostrich handbag and another plum colored bag but I still feel the need to infuse more color into my handbag collection!

While browsing through the selection at E-Luxury.com I saw these two bags from Fendi and Dior. I’m actually not fond of either, but they managed to catch my eye. Are you a fan? Would you go with the fringe or ruffles?

I love this clutch from Brown Booteek, Tala Center. I’m not usually a fan of pink but this shade appeals to me. I also love that I can open it and put my things in by two separate compartments. It keeps everything organized! Are you enjoying the glimpses of all the goodies Brown Booteek has?

Did you know that there’s a Kuwait-based website that sells used luxury handbags? I stumbled across Luluchic.net by accident one day and thought it was an interesting premise. Within days the bags I saw on the website were sold out. It’s no wonder with prices being as low as KD15! The most expensive of the used handbags was KD100.

Of course with cheap prices for luxury handbags, one begins to wonder if they’re counterfeit products. I contacted the owner and she replied that, “the used handbags that I display in my website are mostly from my friends and they should be in excellent or very good condition.” She says it’s proven to be a successful venture due to people’s desire to own luxury bags for a lower price.

Victoria Beckham was snapped out and about wearing these Antonio Berardi boots from the Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection. These heel-less 5 1/2 inch boots are impressive! I love how futuristic and funky they look, but I’m not into the whole garbage-bag vibe. Definitely a hot concept but not loving the execution of the boot. Yesterday, I paid a visit to Brown Booteek at Tala Center, Salmiya. They have a new collection of clothing and accessories which are lovely. I spotted this headband and was told by stylist, Joanna, that girls were snapping it up in imitation of Carrie in the Sex and the City movie. Now, I may be biased because birds attacked my hair when I was a child but I wasn’t a fan of the mock bird on Carrie’s head in the movie and I don’t like it on this headband.

How about you? I doubt birds dove into your hair as a child! What do you think? Would you wear this? Let me (and Joanna) know in the comments below!
