  I didn't include an exclamation mark on the title of this post because I'm feeling a tad bit bitter about what I'll be doing during my Eid holiday which is doing what I did when I was twelve i.e. going to the chalet with my family. Half of my extended family and friends are already out of the country somewhere in the region or if they were smart enough, bought tickets to somewhere in breezy Europe a month or more in advance. On the bright side, I just rearranged all the new music I received from two sources a while ago so my Ipod is up and ready for that half an hour drive to the seaside tomorrow after I have lunch at my grandma's house. I noticed the nighttime weather change too and it feels mighty good.
  

  To be honest, I'm happy Ramadan is over. The whole familial feel is great and all, but the level of road rage got so out of hand this year. Traffic lights became pretty much an option at the tail of the month. You'd think that people would think twice and remember that it's the month of piety and all that good stuff. Guess it's ironic to thank God that this holy month is over.

  Well, save your pennies starting now because soon enough, the domino effect of economical collapse is going to hit us hard. This is going to be one interesting year…

  Perfumes

  I love getting perfumes as gifts, especially Arabic ones. My cousin hates it, she says its not a thoughtful gift, just convenient.
  
  I disagree, if anyone takes the time to buy anything at all even if its just convenient, it still counts as thoughtful.
  
  I like having a big collection of scents to choose from, and i always spray according to my mood.
  
  Fig my roommate only likes using one perfume at a time. A bottle of perfume usually lasts only a week with her cuz she doesn't just spray it, she takes a shower with it. and suffocates me along the way.
  
  I hate it when people spray too much. They would enter a room and immediately flood your senses. Its not nice, just over powering. And my god if your in a confined place like an elevator!
  I can actually feel their perfume in the back of my throat!
  
  But i guess being over powered by perfume is a lot better than being over powered by body odor!
  
  (this is me trying to find a bright side, eshraykom feeni wana positive)

  Why Van Persie should be sold

  A helluva lot has already been said about Saturday's 2-1 defeat by newly-promoted Hull City.

  So I'll just say three things this morning.

  Firstly, it's entirely appropriate that Arsene Wenger should celebrate his 12th anniversary by losing a game to a goal headed in from a corner kick. That is one of his trademarks. He identified that as a weakness last term. But he chose not to address it.

  Secondly, Robin van Persie doesn't make it. He is a bang!bang! striker whose style does not fit the way the team plays. He is not a team player and will never be a team player.  He plays far too selfishly, most of his passes are afterthoughts, he slows the moves down, and he shoots from silly angles again and again and again.Van Persie is a current international striker but he hasn't made it. He's had his chance and he's not good enough. He will never be any better than he is now. Arsene Wenger should not deny that for one more day. Robin van Persie should be sold.

  Thirdly, there is no leader. Gallas is not a captain. Very good player, too introverted to lead, not a captain. Arsenal really need a leader who can rally the side when they concede a goal like the one scored by Geovanni.
